I myself am very eager to use it in trainings and courses, at Deltares and elsewhere. This book should be a great resource for those eager to learn Earth Engine from scratch or those ready to delve into more advanced topics and applications. Jeff Cardille, Nicholas Clinton, Morgan Crowley, PhD and David Saah deserve all the glory they can get! Thanks for pushing us and getting this across the finish line! Besides, it would of course be very impractical to list ~100 authors on the cover. But being part of the process now and seeing the monumental effort needed to get this book from idea to reality. I never understood why it's the editors and not the authors with their names on the cover. Kel Markert and Gennadii Donchyts, thanks for having me as co-author in the chapter on surface water mapping! This massive effort shows the breadth and depth of knowledge on #earthobservation and related topics in the #GEE community, condensed into a single book. Honoured to be one of the many (~100!) authors and stand between #earthengine giants. You can also relive the session (including slides) at. The Earth Engine: Fundamentals and Applications book is out! Officially launched this week at #GeoForGood, the online and #openaccess version of the book, complete with thoroughly vetted code repository, is now available at.
